Review of Soul Crossed by Lisa Gail Green

One Demon. One Angel. One Soul.

Josh lived a reckless, selfish life, so upon his death, escaping the eternal torments of Hell by assuming the role of a powerful, soul-corrupting demon is an easy choice. His first soul assignment doesn’t seem too hard: the mortal Camden is already obsessed with weapons, pain, and torture. If only Josh wasn’t distracted by Cam's beautiful friend, Grace.

Grace never expected to die violently at age sixteen, but now she’s an Angel, responsible for saving a soul. She can already see past Camden’s earthly flaws, so the job should be be easy. If only that handsome, playboy Josh would stop getting in the way.

It’s forbidden for an Angel to be with a Demon, so if Josh and Grace stop resisting each other, the results would be disastrous.

And only one can claim Cam’s soul.

Review:

When I first got this book, I grabbed it for the Romeo and Juliet concept. It looked interesting and had that whole forbidden love going on.

From the first page, I knew that this wasn't going to be just your ordinary young adult paranormal romance. You think there is going to be a love triangle, but you would be wrong.

The characters were flawed but still had a strong sense of morality to them. The dynamic between Grace, Josh and Cam was well orchestrated.

I was holding on until the last page, wondering how the author was going to bring the story together. Let me say, she doesn't disappoint. The book was fun, exciting, and refreshing.

Overall, this was a great read. I recommend it for all lovers of the genre. Soul-Crossed gets five glittery stars for its fantastic story!

 Praise for Soul Crossed

"Who knew evil could be so dreamy? Josh is a devilishly good-looking demon who leads the reader right into lust and temptation. Although Josh is the demon, it is Camden, the Anti-Christ, who will really have readers shivering from his devilish, sinister ways. The Mortal Instruments meets Romeo and Juliet in this title that's jampacked with love, chaos and heartbreak. Readers will have a hard time putting Soul Crossed down." - Romantic Times

"A wickedly romantic story that will have you cheering for Lisa Gail Green’s addictive storytelling. SOUL CROSSED is devilishly delicious!" — Martina Boone, author of COMPULSION and the Heirs of Watson Island trilogy

"Soul Crossed blurs the lines between good and evil with addictive characters and plot that will have you eagerly turning the pages." - Kelly Hashway, author of the Touch of Death series.
