Review of The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee Carter

 Book 3 in the series:

Description:

Love or life.
Henry or their child.
The end of her family or the end of the world.
Kate must choose.

During nine months of captivity, Kate Winters has survived a jealous goddess, a vengeful Titan and a pregnancy she never asked for. Now the Queen of the Gods wants her unborn child, and Kate can't stop her--until Cronus offers a deal.

In exchange for her loyalty and devotion, the King of the Titans will spare humanity and let Kate keep her child. Yet even if Kate agrees, he'll destroy Henry, her mother and the rest of the council. And if she refuses, Cronus will tear the world apart until every last god and mortal is dead.

With the fate of everyone she loves resting on her shoulders, Kate must do the impossible: find a way to defeat the most powerful being in existence, even if it costs her everything.

Even if it costs her eternity.

Review:

OMG this book was freaking awesome!  The series just keeps getting better and better!  This was my favorite book in the series by far.  I'm thrilled that I got a chance to review it.

*sniffles* This book was very emotional from the start all the way to the end, but it wouldn't be so good without the tears.  I was so invested in the story, I didn't want it to end.

I love Kate's character.  She is so strong and self sacrificing for those she loves.  Kate has a big heart and loves with all she has.  Henry is super hot and an amazing husband.  He loves Kate as much as she loves him.  This third book was so Romeo and Juliet and that's what made it even more compelling.

There was a ton of action in this story.  Reading about the war of the gods and their wrath was epic.  The strength of these characters in the face of evil was inspiring.

This was a book about tragedy, love and loss, everything a great book should be.  Look for this when it comes out and pick up a copy, it's well worth it.  This third book in the series deserves more than the five stars I have to offer!

Expected publication: February 26th 2013 by Harlequin Teen
